DEBI is a networking organisation set up to inform, support and motivate businesses, of all sizes and from all sectors in Devon, to adopt environmentally sound and profitable business policies.
We first helped develop DEBI's site in 2007 when the organisation was looking to redevelop the existing site so that it included an integrated content management system to allow the administrators to keep a dynamic site up to date. That site has served the organisation well over that time but it became obvious this year that the site was in need of a complete redesign to reflect the organisation's close ties with Devon County Council (a key sponsor) and to extend the functionality and facilities needed by the organisation. As a result, we offered to sponsor the organisation by developing the new site free of charge as we are strong supporters of DEBI's key aims. Consequently, the new site was developed and implemented in time for the launch of the 2010 awards which were announced at Dart's Farm on 10 June 2010.
We're very pleased that the new site has been so well received by the DEBI Board. DEBI Administrator Michaela Savage told us that she was absolutely delighted, not only with the new design and functionality but also the level of control and ease of use of the content management system she now uses to keep the site up to date. Reaching your customers is all about communication and websites are a ‘must have’ for even the smallest business.
This ‘Website Health Check’ programme is designed to help Devon businesses focus on ways to improve their web presence. It focuses on assisting the tourism and food and drink sectors but if you’re in another sector there’s still lots of useful information.Total: 7
